KLM flies direct to Dar es Salaam from Manchester. These are the only two airlines to offer direct flights to Dar es Salaam from the UK. Flights arrive at Dar es Salaam's Nyerere International Airport, which is situated eight miles (13km) south-west of Dar-es-Salaam. Virgin Atlantic and Air Tanzania fly to Zanzibar via Nairobi and Johannesburg respectively.
